Today the Annual Diocesan Synod Schedule and 2010 Schedule have been released. These schedules are subject to the usual possibility of last minute changes.
The Bishop Ordinary, The Right Reverend Daren K. Williams, has Called the 2010 Diocese of the West to an Extraordinary Synod and Annual Synod to be held in Fountain Valley, California, July 1st and 2nd.
A discussion on July 1st of all that is known about the ACA request for an United States Ordinariate will be discussed. No decisions will be made at the Synod. On July 2nd the Plenary Session of the Annual Diocesan Synod will be held (instead of October).
There will be no Pre-Synod Meetings.
The Synod Banquet on Wednesday June 30th is a Mexican Fiesta with strolling Mariachi musicians. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm in the parking lot of All Saints' Church, 18082 Bushard Street, Fountain Valley. We look forward to seeing all of you there.

Dinner on Thursday and Friday is no-host at the restaurants in the area.
Your priest will have registration forms or you may print the electronic version of the form available on this web page.
Mail your completed form(s) to All Saints' Anglican Cathedral, 18082 Bushard St., Fountain Valley, CA 92708-5761 with your check.
The Clergy, Delegates and Alternate fee is $100. The Guest fee is $35. This includes the banquet, breakfast and lunch.
Receipt of the Registration form and fees constitute a completed registration.
This year we are offering two locations. The rates and availability are good through May 21st. See below.
The Courtyard Fountain Valley, 9950 Slater Ave, (714) 968-5775: $139. If you choose this hotel please make reservations directly with them and mention that you want the Diocese of the West special rate.
The Beach Inn, 18112 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach. $50 forsingle and $60 for dual occupancy. Call Judy Creel at (949) 331-2480 no later that May 21. There are only 25 rooms reserved for our use on a first come basis.
Fountain Valley is served by John Wayne-Orange County Airport (SNA).
