The Bishop Ordinary, The Right Reverend Daren K. Williams, has Called the 2008 Diocese of the West to a Synod in Fountain Valley, California, September 29th through October 1st. The Board of Examining Chaplains and the Standing Committee will meet Monday the 29th, followed by Clericus, with the full Synod Session beginning Tuesday the 30th.
The Preliminary Agenda has been prepared for viewing. The events shown will occur on the day listed, but the times may change.
There are three choices of ways to register. You may complete the paper Registration Form found with your delegate materials, or there is also a PDF Registration Form on which you may complete the fields, print the results and mail the form. There is also an Electronic Registration Form that you may complete and send to synod2008@anglicanwest.org via e-Mail.
Clergy, Delegates and Alternates pay $185 and are entitled to all aspects of the Synod.
Guests registration is $75 and entitles the guest to observe the proceedings of Synod and to partake all meals, including the cruise on the Endeavor. Guests do not have a voice or vote in the proceedings and receive none of the Synod business materials.
Payment is made by check made out to All Saints' Anglican Church with 'Synod 2008' on the memo line and mailed to:

For special Marriott Synod rates, good through August 15th, you may register at either the Courtyard by Marriott or the Residence Inn, both located in Fountain Valley one mile from All Saints' Cathedral. They are adjacent to each other and differ in the facilities offered. Marriot has provided a rate sheet offering information about the accommodations, costs, location and methods of registration (phone or on-line).

Fountain Valley is served by three regional airports. The closest one is John Wayne-Orange County Airport (SNA). Long Beach Airport (LGB) is 16 miles from the hotels, and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is 35 miles away. Synod will provide transportation to and from John Wayne-Orange County Airport ONLY. If you require shuttle service from LGB, LAX or other area airports, contact Prime Time Shuttle at www.primetimeshuttle.com.
